  • Founded in 1980, we’re one of the nation’s longest-running and most established graduate programs in human resource development.

  • Our flexible 8‑week courses make it easy to fit graduate study into real life. Earn your MSHRD in two years, or take up to four at your own pace, online or on campus.

  • You’ll learn from HR pros and research faculty who bring current practice and real data into every class. And you can customize your path—earn a standalone certificate or stack one toward the MS.

  • All of our courses are approved for SHRM and HRCI recertification credits; develop your HR skills and earn credits at the same time.

  • Join a global network of HR professionals with more than 2,500 Villanova HRD graduates across industries and around the world.

  • There’s no GRE, and three start terms each year. Apply online whenever you’re ready: Fall, Spring, or Summer.

We’re also refreshing our certificate options, with more updates coming soon. All programs are available on campus or fully online, except for the combined Bachelors/Masters option. Every course is approved for SHRM and HRCI recertification credits, so you can grow professionally while earning credit that can later apply toward a degree.
