VU SHRM volunteers with Cradles to Crayons

A few weeks ago, VU SHRM had the opportunity to volunteer with Cradles to Crayons in Conshohocken, PA. The Cradles to Crayons organization collects various toys, clothing, and other essential items for children from birth to age 12 living in low-income and homeless situations. Cradles to Crayons supplies these items free of charge with the help of volunteers.

The VU SHRM team spent the evening in the warehouse cleaning and sorting toys such as musical instruments and figurines. It felt great to know the few hours of our time would have an impact, and we also had fun re-living our own childhood memories!
