The FIRST 2016 Villanova National Champions were from #VUHRD!

As we head into March, everyone is getting excited for another round of March Madness! Villanova is a buzz with talk of the 2016 National Champions and how they will fair in the competition this year. Over in #VUHRD, we are having the same conversation, but we are referring to the first 2016 Villanova National Champions, our very own #VUHRD Graduate Students! I am sure everyone else is too! (wink, wink!) Last year, five graduate students from Villanova - Samantha Khan, Nick Kruger, Rita Snell, Rebeca Pareja-Hecimovich and Alex Miller, competed in the SHRM National Case Competition and took home first prize in the Graduate East Division!

This year VUHRD students will again be competing in this competition, and just like the men's basketball team, we are hoping for a repeat victory! This year's competition will be held right here in Philadelphia and #VUHRD is proud to be sponsoring the event. The SHRM Student Case Competition and Career Summit is the premier student HR conference in the United States. The event provides not only an opportunity for students to compete in the case competition but also for HR professionals to connect and network.
