Greater Valley Forge HRA 2017 HR Summit | Friday, October 13th
The Greater Valley Forge HR Association (GVFHRA) is hosting its annual HR Summit on Friday, October 13, 2017 from 7:15 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at Penn State Great Valley in Malvern, PA. #VUHRD will be sponsoring this year's event!
Last year, the Summit's theme was The 4 T's of Human Resources: Talent, Technology, Trends & Transformation. #VUHRD presented last year on how to build community in organizations with remote employees. Presenters from #VUHRD, Bethany Adams and Larry Cozzens, discussed the McMillian and Chavis model of community, which focuses on the elements of membership, influence, fulfillment of needs, and shared emotional connection. We even brought in Villanova's own iPad robot, to include Shea Mazar, VUHRD Administrative Assistant, to participate in the talk virtually! You can check out more about last year's Summit and this presentation here.
This year, the GVFHRA Summit's theme is Taking the Horror out of HR. There are a wide variety of speakers and topics that will be covered at this year's Summit, including discussions on 'nightmares' in HR technology, cultural change through competencies, using analytics to navigate organizational change, and more! Check out the full list of speakers and talk titles here.
